Community Involvement

The Midwest Carwash Association (MCA) is proud of its commitment of giving back to the communities it serves.  Following are a number of statewide organizations that MCA is committed to helping.  Many MCA members also make contributions on a local level by supporting various organizations and community groups.

Adopt A Soldier's Family

The Midwest Carwash Association created its benefit wash program - Adopt A Soldier's Family in 2005.  Thousands of families are wondering what they can do to show their support for our armed forces and their families.  The MCA Adopt A Soldier's Family benefit wash program gives individuals the opportunity to provide meaningful support and show that they support our armed forces and their families by purchasing a MCA Adopt A Soldier's Family window decal for their vehicle.

Participating MCA washes will have the opportunity to make matching contributions and offer discounts and services besides serving as a central location for people who want to contribute to the Adopt A Soldier's Family campaign.

100 % of all donations will be used to help families through the National Guard Family Program.  Donations will be used for phone cards, gift cards to retailers and other service businesses. 

Special Olympics

The Special Olympics mission is to provide sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for the children and adults with intellectual disabilities who live in our state. Although sports is the "vehicle," the ultimate goal of Special Olympics is to help persons with intellectual disabilities participate and receive respect as members of their communities. 

Make-A-Wish Foundation

For the last three years, more than 700 car wash professionals have joined together in a one-day effort to raise money and awareness for children with life-threatening medical conditions. To date, the Wash U.S.A. event has generated hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, a nationwide organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.

Toys for Tots

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during November and December each year and distribute those toys; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation's most valuable natural resources - our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.

Clinton River Watershed Council

The Clinton River Watershed Council (CRWC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting, enhancing and celebrating the Clinton River, its watershed and Lake St. Clair.  For more than 30 years, CRWC has served to coordinate the efforts of local governments, businesses, community groups and individuals in improving water quality, promoting innovative watershed management techniques, and celebrating the river as a natural and recreational resource.
