Unemployment Tax Audits
Over the past 25 years, state unemployment tax continues to increase. Employees receive unemployment even when they quit or are discharged. Regulatory/Legislative Advocacy
Whether issues arise in Congress or in any of the States in our region, rest assured MCA is watching and monitoring developments which affect our industry. Public Relations Campaign
MCA is working on a public and media relations campaign addressing the environmental and monetary benefits of using a professional car wash. MCA is also developing media kits offering tips on how to gain visibility for your business. You can also visit the International Carwash Association's public awareness website "Car Love", which focuses on the benefits of using a professional carwash.

Discount Energy Program
If your company spends more than $500 a month in gas or electric bills then the MCA Discount Energy Program may save your company 5 - 20% a month! MCA has partnered with Kimball Power Company, LLC, a purchasing agent of energy, to bring members the Customer Choice Program. When your company qualifies for this program, Kimball Power will work with many different suppliers to get the best rate on energy sources for you! This purchasing program will allow your company to substantially reduce natural gas and electric bills, with little or no up front costs. Vehicle Incident Bulletin
As part of the Finish Line newsletter, MCA publishes a Vehicle Incident Bulletin which describes damages and other problems wash owners are experiencing with different vehicles. This is a great tool to help reduce vehicle trim and mirror damageas well as control insurance claims. MCA members are encouraged to fax or mail in their Vehicle Incident reports to the MCA office. Membership Roster
Each summer, the MCA produces a Membership Roster for distribution to all MCA members, distributors, suppliers and manufacturers. This directory contains the MCA by-laws, all of our partner service providers, upcoming MCA events, and listings of all the car care members in our five state region. Advertising is available to companies that have a product or service to bring to our industry.
